July 28, 2006  "Monika", aka The Pocket Rocket, or more officially, Rumor's Quick On The Sly. She's caught enjoying a rare moment of rest after a busy day at Grandma's house. This little 4 1/2 month old dynamo will start her field career this fall. Monika is a CH Maximus daughter out of Athena and is owned by Leigh Kamens. |
August 4, 2006  "Topanga", Rumor's Say It Quick, is a CH Maximus daughter out of Athena and is owned by Carol Henning, her breeder. Panga-Roo, as she is affectionately known, is just as high energy (notice the wet and muddy feet from a quick backyard hunt) and sweet as the rest of the "Quick" litter of 5. |
August 11, 2006  Now *this* is versatility!! You just try to balance a sheep on your head while you have a ball in your mouth!! :-) This is my beloved FC Gracchus, who seems to be more than just a little of my adored Rudy, aka "Ruger", come back to me from Heaven. |

21, 2006 Tibère and his new friend from Switzerland one minute...  ...and the next minute, teeny pup winning the face-washing contest!! Tibère is an almost 5 month old FC Gracchus and CH Mali son who has a temperament to die for! |

September 6, 2006  CH Reilly, with his buddy Hunter and his son, Chewie and his grandaughter, Hallie.  Hunter's big brother, Cody, and FC Gracchus as a pup. Gracchus is Reilly's son as well. All the Ruger pups love visting and living in the Magerfleisch household! |

23rd, 2006 Two weekends of field trial success for Ruger kids, relatives and a couple of family friends. We are even missing two more blue rosettes here! It was a dream trip! |
November 6th, 2006   Tania & FC Gracchus (mother and son) each earn Junior Earthdog legs in the same weekend! Each need one additional leg to earn their JE title. They will have to wait until the spring to "get" those dirty rats! |

19, 2006 CH Maximus finishes his Field Championship with a 3rd in a very large stake under breeder judge Robert Schwalbe (pictured) and judge Larry Innis. This makes Maxi a Dual Champion; he is now known as DC Sunrise Maximus v Ruger MW Maxi is our first homebred Dual here at Ruger. |

Three Generations of Earthdogs! FC Sunrise Ruger Gracchus MS, JE (major pointed) Sunrise Lightly Tanned MS, JE, ROMX (field and conformation pointed) Doxikota Ruger 'Ol Blue Eyes MS, JE (major pointed)  This was a wonderful day with Reilly looking down on us from heaven on what would have been his 6th birthday. From left to right; Gracchus (Reilly & Tania's son), Tania and Franky (Gracchus' son and Reilly & Tania's grandson) all qualify in Junior Earthdog in the same day. This leg completed Tania and Gracchus' JE title and it was Franky's first leg. Thanks to judge Sandy Trzos! Franky went on to complete his title the next day in 2 of 2 tries and Tania earned her first Senior leg. Cousin Monika (DC Maximus x Athena) earned her first JE leg on Sunday, too! |

New Champion Rumor's Leon's Last Wish v Ruger  "Tucker" Tucker, sired by our homebred DC Sunrise Maximus v Ruger MW, finishes his Championship undefeated at only 8 months of age. He is showy and balanced and we feel he is only going to get better. His older full sister from the first breeding, Rumor's Say It Quick MW, "Topanga", took her first major this day as well. The following weekend Tucker took a BOV his first time out as a Special over a SW bitch and Topanga took her second major. Another brother, Guinness, is getting ready for his debut in the show ring and he and two other siblings, Monika and Sisko, are also field pointed. Additionally, Monika has an Earthdog leg! All of these kids are fabulously talented! These beautiful kids were bred by Carol Henning and they are out of the lovely "Athena", Moriah's Rumor's Oopsy-Do MW. |
 Baron, a DC Maximus x CH Cloe son, at 11 months of age. He currently has three majors in the conformation ring and needs just 4 singles to finish his Championship. He's also working on his field and earthdog skills. |

Radar, you may now kiss the groom!  Radar, Caledonia's Radar O'Reilly v Ruger, is a 5.5 month old wire DC Maximus x CH Lassie son. He is owned and loved by Kathy Schooler in Boise, ID. Kathy is the proud aunt of the bride. |
Toby was just meant to be for Jana...   "Toby", formerly Alton Brown (FC Gracchus JE x Lydia), is doing fine and fancy in his new digs in Argyle TX. He is having a fantastic time with his new momma Jana and her pack of dogs, which include her fabulous Dals, a Greyhound, a Beagle and a Corgi. He's also thinking her horses are pretty neat, too. Look for this pretty boy in the show ring with Jana before you know it! |
Doogie is pretty relaxed... ...his first day in his new home with Tosha and Steve! Doogie is a cute, cute (did I say cute?) DC Maximus x CH Mali son. |
