Jody comes from a large (6 brothers and 6 sisters) family.  His parents own a cottage on School Section Lake near Remus, Michigan. Remus is about 30 minutes from Mt Pleasant, where Jody grew up.  His parents and 8 of his brothers and sisters still live there, so we were fortunate to get to spend lots of time with our family. There is nothing like being on a beautiful lake in MI in the summer, surrounded by family and friends and our dogs. We took the five oldest dogs, Andie and Delaney, Elliot, Griffin and Reilly.  They had just as much fun as we did...maybe more!  As you can see by these pictures, the dogs loved the nieces and nephews....these were all very well-behaved kids whom the dogs truly adored! We spent lots of time swimming and talking and too much time eating!  It was about as perfect as a vacation can get!!

One of Jody's brothers, Jerry, his wife Kris and Gracie the beagle, Tyler and Elliot, Nick and Reilly and Sophie and Griffin, all at Jerry and Kris's farm in Rosebush.  Of course, the human kids are Jerry's and Kris's.
