Gracchus wasn't entered in Senior because he was galivanting around Montana with his lovely handler, Monica Lamontagne. Next time, Gracchi-boy.

We had a good Earthdog weekend at the Cairn Terrier Club of Denver sponsored tests June 21 & 22 in Elizabeth, CO. Tania earned another Master leg on Saturday, so she needs 2 more legs for her ME title. Evie did a respectable job her first two tries with Senior, but it's a big jump up from the Junior tunnels for a 9 month old puppy. Maximus, for the first time, did a fabulous job....he should get it the next time around for sure. The biggest surprise of the weekend was our pretty Miss Ryan, who earned a Junior leg on Sunday. One more and she has her JE title. All around, the dogs all had fun 'gettin' those rats!! Of course, no rats are harmed in AKC earthdog, but don't tell the dogs that!
